Processing an ACH Micro-Payment & Adding Your Bank Account

This article helps you process your first payment and add your banking information for future payments from Carepay.

Written by Todd Boring

For qualified vendor partners and service providers, setting up your ACH/EFT payment account is straightforward. It ensures that you receive your invoice payments directly into your bank account. Follow the steps below to get started.

1. Receiving Your Micro-Payment Notification

After initially enrolling in ePayments, you will receive an email notification from Carepay for a micro-payment to verify your bank account. You will need to accept the payment and securely add your bank account information for your deposits.

Follow these instructions to accept your payment and add your banking information.

a. Payment Notification Email:

  • You will receive an email at the address you used during enrollment each time a payment is made.

  • The micropayment verification email will look similar to a real invoice payment notification, including a placeholder invoice, claim, and EOB/EOR information (if applicable). For now, please disregard these details and focus on the format. Rest assured, future payments will have accurate information and a secure, clickable link to view and download the actual EOB/EOR (if applicable). Here is an example of your payment notification:
